Nepal enters 2027 with a government barely a year old and a country that needs to be put back together. A republic that changed its leadership by a violent uprising has since lost more of its people to a natural disaster that its traditional warning systems were never designed to track.
The Sixth Edition of the Kantipur Conclave will revolve around one question: can a government elected on domestic reform manage a gargantuan reconstruction while the ground it stands on and the global geopolitics it is forced to rely on keep changing?
Over two days, Kantipur Conclave will examine what has been delivered, what has been pledged, and what has actually arrived. It will also look outward, at what Nepal builds toward, what its climate and energy future depends on, what others around us are getting right — and what the world owes a country like Nepal.
